Thank you/Miigwetch for visiting www.kwetoday.com!

Somehow you have stumbled across this blog either because you met me, and I told you about it, or you were in search of something in particular. Well, I can tell you that you’ve come to the write place for awesomeness! Some of the topics I write about are very straightforward. Yet, sometimes I write about very personal and intimate experiences, as well as some fierce topics, which include an assortment of even fiercer guest authors!

This blog is born out of the beauty that is often buried in anger and frustration. Most importantly, however, this space has grown into a space for personal-individual growth and a source of inspiration for my readers, who I am all very thankful for!

My goal for this blog is to create a space for myself, and others to share their thoughts, opinions, and personal experiences on a diverse range of topics. No hate is allowed in this space, and any comments that include hatred/racism/ignorance against any particular group of people, they will be deleted and most importantly, ignored.

Many of my posts are related or connected to Indigenous peeps or the experiences of Indigenous peeps, and I try to write about many topics relating to the experiences of women, especially Indigenous women! Hence, the name of the blog: Kwe Today. “Kwe” translates into “woman” from my Indigenous language, Anishinabemowin.

You can check out https://kwetoday.com/kwe-today-on-the-internet/ and see the other places I have been published.

In the mean time, don’t be shy and say hi! You can post a comment below, send me a message on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/kwetoday), comment on a post, or send me a tweet in twitter!

Naomi, the kwe behind www.kwetoday.com

Tell me I can’t and I will show you I can!

Note: If you are seeking to use any of the blog posts on this blog, please take a moment to contact me and let me know! I enjoy reading about how and where my blog posts are being used whether it be in the class or in a presentation.
